Welcome! Marisa Roberto, Ph.D invites you to the Sixth International Congress on Alcoholism and Stress to be held in Volterra, Italy on May 12 - 15, 2026. This is an international meeting aimed at bridging ongoing independent programs in alcoholism and stress research in Europe and the United States. The conference program will integrate basic and clinical research with a specific focus on developing preventive strategies and pharmacotherapeutic remedies for stress- and alcohol-related biomedical phenomena. This program will have relevance to basic researchers, clinicians, clinical researchers, and policy makers.
The dates of previous meetings are: May 6 - 8, 2008; May 3 - 6, 2011; May 6 - 9, 2014; and May 9 - 12, 2017; May 16-19, 2023.
Pre-check in will be available at the Conference Center from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 11 to help reduce waiting times for check-in on the morning of the conference.
